Full-time Chef
1. Measure and assemble ingredients for menu items
2. Collaborate with the Executive Chef and Cooks to prepare meals during our dining hours
3. Maintain accurate food inventories
Properly store food items at appropriate temperatures
4. Rotate stock items as per established procedures
5. Restock kitchen for subsequent shifts
6. Ensure that the food prep area and kitchen are cleaned and sanitized at the end of your shift
7. Able to read and follow standardized recipes
8. Knowledge of proper food handling procedures
9. Able to work as part of a team in a busy kitchen atmosphere
10. Serve Safe Certification preferred
11. Chinese (mandarin) can be an asset as the majority of the other kitchen staff primarily communicate in Chinese

Education and Experience
1. High School or equivalent
2. A minimum of 5 years’ experience in cooking
3. Trade certification is an asset
